Southern Gospel

Summary: Samuel Allen, a 1960's rock and roller, finds himself in jail. Years of anger and blame toward organized religion have led him down a road of rebellion. In a moment of divine intervention, a judge dismisses drug charges against him under the pretense that Samuel speaks to local schools and churches about the dangers of drugs. Given a second chance, he follows in his father's footsteps, overcoming the influence of a powerful church leader with a personal vendetta against his family to become a preacher. Samuel's desire to use his talents to share a message of forgiveness is challenged at every turn. It's a story of how forgiveness changes everything, how a cry for help, even in a prison cell, can be all it takes to activate grace. It's a story of a man who lost his way to finding the gospel... Southern Gospel. The truth will set you free.
